She’s All In won her fourth consecutive race while defending her title in the $50,000 Ladies on the Lawn at Remington Park on Friday night.

The one-mile race for Oklahoma-bred fillies and mares was moved to the main track following last week’s decision to call off turf racing for the remainder of the meet.

She’s All In won by 2 3/4 lengths over Going Okie, and it was another 1 1/4 lengths back in third to Miss Natalie. She’s All In ($3) settled into a stalking position behind Miss Natalie and Miranda Diane, who were prominent through fractions of 24.46 seconds for the opening quarter and 48.41 for the half-mile. Miss Natalie continued to lead through six furlongs in 1:13.06 before being overtaken by She’s All In, who went on to cover the distance on a fast track in 1:38.04.

Glen Murphy rode the winner for Robert Zoellner and trainer Donnie Von Hemel.

She’s All In had won the $100,000 River Cities at Louisiana Downs in September and an allowance and the $128,000 Oklahoma Classics Distaff at Remington in October leading up to the Ladies on the Lawn. She has now won 10 of 19 starts and $423,122.

She’s All In will likely run next during the Oaklawn Park meet that opens in January, according to Von Hemel.

For Immediate Release
Friday, August 10, 2012

OKLAHOMA CITY – The 2012 Remington Park Season opened on a pleasant Friday for early August in Oklahoma City. Those in attendance witnessed a great stretch run in the featured $44,500 Redbud Distaff allowance as graded stakes winner She’s All In battled for a neck victory over longshot Guanabara Gal.

Owned by Robert Zoellner of Tulsa, Okla. and trained by Donnie Von Hemel, She’s All In made her move for the front around the final turn of the 7-1/2 furlong turf event. Jockey Luis Quinonez had the 5-year-old Oklahoma-bred mare in position at the top of the lane but Guanabara Gal had other ideas.

Under Benny Landeros, Guanabara Gal had taken control of the race before leaving the backstretch. When challenged in the final furlong by 3-5 wagering favorite She’s All In, Guanabara Gal dug in to hold her position. The game effort was not enough as She’s All In had a little more, getting up in the final strides while crossing the finish in 1:30.20 over a firm turf course.

She’s All In paid $3.40 to win, $2.40 to place and $2.20 to show. Guanabara Gal returned $12.60 to place and $5.80 to show. Patty’s Pride was third and paid $4.40 to show.

The victory for She’s All In was her 12th from 26 career starts and her seventh in just nine attempts at Remington Park. A mare by Include from the Hickory Ridge mare Georgia OK, She’s All In has been the top Oklahoma-bred female in racing for the past two years, winning multiple stakes races in open company as well as scoring in her home state. She cruised to an easy win in the Grade 3, $200,000 Sixty Sails Handicap at Hawthorne Racecourse in Chicago in April. The winner’s share on Friday night, $28,245, moved her career earnings to $640,867.

A pair of stakes races will head the program for the second night of the season on Saturday, Aug. 11 as the $200,000 Governor’s Cup and the $100,000 David M. Vance Stakes are contested. Remington Park’s first race on Saturday is at 6:30pm.

Open daily at 10am for casino gaming and simulcast racing, Remington Park features the Bricktown Brewery on the casino floor. Admission, general parking and valet parking are always free at Remington Park.

Remington Park, with over 18,000 fans on Facebook and 3,000 Twitter followers, is Oklahoma City’s only Racetrack & Casino and is located at the junction of Interstates 35 & 44, in the heart of the Oklahoma City Adventure District.
OKLAHOMA CITY – She’s All In, arguably the top Oklahoma-bred in training, returned to Remington Park on Saturday evening to prep for her Oklahoma Classics outing next month. The 5-year-old mare won as she pleased, cruising home in her $49,000 state-bred allowance by 2-1/2 lengths.

Owned by Robert Zoellner of Tulsa, Okla. and trained by Donnie Von Hemel, She’s All In tracked the pace-setting Winner To Be for the first half-mile of the one-mile race before easily going to the lead as the field of seven moved to the final turn. Under jockey Luis Quinonez, She’s All In was in complete command throughout the stretch run with plenty in reserve, crossing the line in 1:39.34 over the sloppy main track. Winner To Be held second with Okie Blonde another 4-1/4 lengths back in third.

The heavy wagering favorite at 1-5 odds, She’s All In paid $2.60 to win, $2.10 to place and $2.10 to show. Winner To Be returned $2.60 to place and $2.10 to show. Okie Blonde paid $3 to show.

She’s All In has options going forward to the Oct. 19 Oklahoma Classics. The versatile mare has won over fast and off-tracks and over turf so she could make her next start in many of the divisional races that comprise the Classics. Saturday’s win was her 13th from 28 career starts and her eighth at Remington Park. Winner of the Grade 3, $200,000 Sixty Sails Handicap at Hawthorne in Chicago this spring, She’s All In picked up $28,398 for the win Saturday to move her lifetime earnings to $689,265.

Jockey Bryan McNeil posted a triple on Saturday. He won aboard Pacar ($3.20 to win) in the fifth race, What Lola Wants ($113.60) in the sixth and G J’s Pride ($9.80) in the ninth. McNeil now has 19 wins for the season and moves into sole possession of third-place in the jockey standings behind Quinonez (27 wins) and Cliff Berry (24).

Remington Park live racing continues Sunday with the special Oklahoma Derby Day program. The Sunday card starts at 1:30pm and features the $400,000 Oklahoma Derby, the $250,000 Remington Park Oaks, the $200,000 Remington Park Sprint Cup, the $125,000 Remington Green Stakes and the $50,000 Ladies on the Lawn Stakes.

Open daily at 10am for casino gaming and simulcast racing, Remington Park features the Bricktown Brewery on the casino floor. Admission, general parking and valet parking are always free at Remington Park.

Remington Park, with over 22,000 fans on Facebook and 3,000 Twitter followers, is Oklahoma City’s only Racetrack & Casino and is located at the junction of Interstates 35 & 44, in the heart of the Oklahoma City Adventure District.
